Yamaha Soundbar + Subwoofer + Wireless Rear
Yamaha offers a True X Series soundbar and wireless subwoofer that can be connected wirelessly to two of their “optional” True X Speaker 1A portable surround speaker with built-in rechargeable battery (packaged and sold individually – buy 2!) to add rear surround sound effects. Each 3.5″ wide, 4.1″ high, 3.5″ deep, 1.1 pound speaker features a 2.1″ full-range driver and two passive radiators with 10 watts of maximum power.
When not being used as wireless rear speakers, you can use them in Solo Mode as portable speakers to listen to music for up to 12 hours streamed from your smartphone or other Bluetooth device. They recharge via USB Type-C charging in about 3 hours. There’s an optional CC-T1A charging cradle (also packaged and sold individually – buy 2!). Speaker is IP67 rated for dust and water resistance so they are durable enough to use them outdoors without worries.

The difference between the Yamaha True X Bar 40A and 50A is the addition of the True X Sub 100A subwoofer with the 50A.
The Yamaha SR-X40A True X Bar 40A soundbar measures 40″ wide, 2.5″ high, 4.4″ deep, and weighs 8.5 pounds. It features dual 1.8″ x 2.6″ cone full-range drivers on front, and two 3″ woofers and two 2″ cone height drivers on top. 180 watts max of power output. Connectivity includes WiFi, Bluetooth v5.0, one HDMI input, HDMI eARC/ARC output, an optical digital audio input, Ethernet LAN, and USB for updates only. Remote control included. Basic controls are on top of unit. Wall-mountable with built-in keyholes.
Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital surround sound decoding. The five sound modes are Standard, Stereo, Game, Movie, and All. Clear Voice makes human voices more audible. The matching Yamaha SW-X100A True X Sub 100A wireless subwoofer is 7.4″ wide, 16″ high, and 16.1″ deep, and weighs 20.7 pounds. It has a 6.3″ cone woofer and bass reflex port and is powered by a 100 watt amplifier. Frequency response is 35Hz – 100Hz. Must be plugged into nearby AC outlet for power.
