JBL Soundbar Systems with Detachable Rears

JBL offers three different current models of their Bar MK2 soundbar system packages that include rear surround speakers with built-in rechargeable batteries which quickly and easily attach and detach to or from the main sound bar for charging and temporary setup as completely wireless rear speakers.

When not being used as wireless rear speakers, broadcasting lets you take one or both speakers to another room and hear the same audio that’s playing in the main room. Or, you can use them as a pair of portable speakers to listen to music for up to 10 hours streamed from your Bluetooth device. You can enable multiple speaker connection with other Auracast capable speakers such as the JBL Xtreme 4 portable speaker.

The soundbar discovers how sound reflects off your walls and furniture to calibrate surround sound to your specific space. MultiBeam 3.0 delivers a wide, cinema-like soundstage. PureVoice 2.0 provides clear dialogue. SmartDetails reproduces the subtlest audio nuance from a soft footstep to the creak of a floorboard. Night listening mutes the soundbar and subwoofer letting you listen to just the wireless rear speakers. Download the JBL ONE app to customize the sound using the equalizer, get software upgrades, and browse your favorite music apps.

In addition to the sound bar itself, two detachable wireless surround speakers, and subwoofer, each of the following three JBL soundbar systems includes the remote control with batteries, power cords, two L-shape and two U-shape wall mount brackets for main soundbar and surround speakers, wall-mount template, four side caps, an HDMI cable, quick start guide, safety instruction, and warranty card.

Connectivity on sound bars includes WiFi, Bluetooth v5.3, HDMI input (one on 700MK2, three on 1000MK2 and 1300XMK2), HDMI eARC with 4K Dolby Vision passthrough, Ethernet LAN, optical digital audio input, and USB Type A for playback.
